It's on Forest View Road, off of Charles Street (or Harrison Road depending on how you look at it) on the Southeast side of Rockford, about 4 blocks south of Newburg Road between Alpine and Mulford.
Rent for a 1 bedroom is around $455 a month, and that includes heat, water and garbage - you pay electric and cable. Your initial lease is 6 months, and then you just go month by month after that, giving them at least 1 month notice of moving out.
You also get 1 assigned parking spot in the off street parking lot, and there is a visitor's lot out front where you can also park if you have multiple cars. You also get a decent sized storage locker in the storage room and there is an on site laundry room with coin operated washers and dryers (2 of each). You get your own mailbox too.
It's a fairly quiet building too, most of the tenants being old folks, so you don't have to worry about crazy parties going on 24/7 or really really loud neighbors. Everyone seems real friendly though!
It's also non-smoking, however a lot of people smoke on their balconies or by the front door to the building and supposedly there's no pets allowed either, but I've seen a few of the older people with little dogs and I swear the lady above me has a cat. It's owned by CCRT Properties, for those that are wondering.
For being a 1 bedroom, it's very spacious with lots of closets. We have 2 of us living in one these and there's plenty of room for the both of us.
